Our typewriters show the development of this technique from 1888(Chicago/U.S.A.) until the present time. The last actual typewriter made in the GDR was the “ERIKA”.

We display as well special makes of typewriters for handicapped , the „Braille-Typewriter“ and different typewriters for children as well as the legendary „Mignon“. Interested visitors have the opportunity to see at different models the different strokes of writing.
